(DEP) Data Export Processor

BSI has developed a standardized data export process that allows the end-user to access data from any system table and predefine an export table for interface into a wide variety of database-driven systems. The concept of the export procedure is to define a data set to export once for any Benepack system table.

The user can set up various parameters, then save it under a "job name." As necessary, the end-user can then recall the saved job and perform the same export later on using the set of parameters stored under the job name. Optionally, the end-user has total control over any criteria for data selected using a particular set of requirements at the time of export. This one-time operation maintains the selected parameters defined under the job name.

Standard Export Procedure:

Available Options

This particular export procedure is different than the others in the Benepack system because it doesn’t focus on only one database and function at a given time. Here, the end-user can select any of the databases used in the Benepack system under the "Select Database" section. This lists ALL databases in the Benepack system. The end-user can then specify a number of data selection options within this exporting tool. The following parameters may also be specified when defining export data:

  • Field selection and sequence
  • Type of output file
  • Sequence of output
  • Output file name and location
