Employee Coverage Reporting This web-based application allows an employee to look up their coverage information and dependent data and display or print this information on a report. The information itself is retrieved from an on-line database of coverage information taken from a desktop benefit tracking application. |
| As a
stand alone system, ECR accesses detail benefit and coverage data and "writes"
HTML code that is directly published to the website, eliminating the need for costly
formatting and rehashing of the data by web programming staff. An employee would log onto their Benepack web site using any web browser (ideally MS Internet Explorer). Choosing the "Online Benefit Inquiry" option will look up the employee's coverage information based upon their Social Security Number (SSN). The system then attempts to match the entered SSN with one stored on-line within the Benepack system. If a matching SSN is found, the employee will see the following results: |
